Hell yeah it is, swalllowing ftw

For some reason I had the most intense crush on David Bowie during my early childhood years after marathons of watching “Labyrinth” which often melded with “The Never Ending Story”. I use to think of myself as weird for this fascination, I was sort of ashamed, But now, I know I am not the only girl who based her romantic standards off of David Bowie films.

Asherah: horrible but possibly true thought

The American Portraiture Museum in near Gallery Place, there were a few new exhibits I was interested in checking out and a few permanent pieces I wanted to show my friend. Next to the Modern Art museum, this is one of the Smithsonian facilities I enjoy the most in the DC area.

I enjoy the grandiose architecture of the building itself, the assertive columns and elaborate and sweeping staircase that take you from one journey to another. This Stained Glass display caught my eye, one of my new DC friends shared his love of making Stained Glass art, so it just reminded me of him. Plus this design was the most intricate I have seen.

Been a very entertaining night, off to watch the dude.

Guess where I am? Somewhere in new orleans … just had a wonderful evening with my first ” first timer” a lovely gent from up north on a trip. It was an absolute pleasure ( my oh my!) And a privilege to be
